About BEAM!

My name is Alex and I am the Founder and Care Consultant at BEAM Care Consulting. I started Beam after noticing a lack of support for families navigating health challenges and disabilities outside of the hospital context. I live with a complex disability, and have been navigating the health system in different ways throughout my life. After obtaining my bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, I have gained training in psychosocial care, trauma informed care, inpatient care, neurodiversities, and disability ministry. I have a heart for families who don’t know where to turn in the midst of their health journey, and I would love to be a light for  you!
